The deal was every time a student mastered an addition fact (for example +0, +1, +2, etc.) he/she added a pepperoni to his/her pizza on the bulletin board and when every student had 12 pepperoni we would have a pizza party.
A HUGE THANK YOU to Peppercini's Deli House for donating the pizza and brownies - YUM!!!
As you can tell, it was also COLOR DAY that day and all first grade students wore RED!
What a BLAST the pizza party turned out to be!Now the students are wondering what special surprise is in the works for mastering the subtraction facts!
