Eggs Eggs Eggs

We have had so much fun learning about EGGS!

First we read the book ...
and learned about animals that hatch out of eggs.

Then we made our own book about animals that hatch out of eggs.
We learned about the parts of the egg and made a diagram.
Then we did an eggs-amination of a hard-boiled egg...

We looked at the egg through a magnifying glass. We described how it looked, how it smelled, and how it felt. Then we cracked, peeled, and tasted the egg. Then we described how the egg changed in looks, taste, and smell. Lastly we tasted the egg a second time with salt and paper and most students gobbled it up.
For our last egg-tivity the students had to fill in the blanks and they had a blast being creative.
