Bear Snores On

We read the book...
It is so much fun to read because of the effortless rhyme:

In a cave in the woods,
in his deep, dark lair,
through the long cold winter
sleeps a great brown bear.

This book is written by one of my favorite children's authors, Karma Wilson. Her website is http://www.bearsnoreson.com/ and is a wonderful place to discover many more captivating children's books such as Where Is Home Lil' Pip and Never Ever Shout in a Zoo!

In Art class the students made the bear character from the book.
