Learning to Lend a Helping Hand

We talked as a class about the importance of helping others.

The students came up with some great ideas.

For example:
-when a student is sad; be a friend
-when a student can't figure out an answer; give a clue
-when a student is making a good choice; give a high five

At the end of our discussion we created colorful 'Helping Hands' and hung them on our bulletin board in the hall as a reminder to be helpful to others.
