Our class is really enjoying Kincaid's annual recreational reading
program HOWL 'Helping Ourselves With Literacy' this school year! Last
Friday was the annual HOWL book character parade. Our class was full of
awesome book character costumes!
Mrs. Campbell and Avrey or should we say Mary Poppins and Madeline?
Annika was Junie B. Jones and Alexiah was Elsa.
Kiah was a Disney Princess and Hunter was a pirate.
Kyle was a rescue ranger and Larkin was an angel.
Luke was Roan and Marty was a transformer.
Josie was Pinkalicious and Carese was Sophia The First.
Tucker was a baseball player just like in his Curious George book and Ryder was Jack from the Magic Tree House series.
Jarriah was Elsa and Meredith was Junie B. Jones.
Michael carried our favorite book character The Gruffalo for the parade and CJ was spiderman.
What a great way to get interested in new books!
