During the week of February 25th to March 1st we celebrated in traditional 'Seuss' style!
Each day of the week we read a story by Dr. Seuss and completed an activity to go with the story.
On Monday & Tuesday we read 'The Cat in the Hat' and made hanging cats to put above our desks. We also made self portraits and gave them hats just like 'The Cat in the Hat'!

Wednesday we read 'There's a Wocket in my Pocket'. Then we brainstormed nonsense '-ocket' words and made our own '-ockets' in our pockets.
Thursday we read the story 'The Lorax'. After we talked about what happened at the beginning, middle, and end of the story, we wrote about ways we could help keep the earth clean just like the Lorax.
On Friday we wrapped up the fun week by reading the story 'One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish'. Then we graphed colored goldfish and practiced adding up different color combinations of the goldfish.
