Learning To Measure

As we progress through Unit 4 of the Everyday Math curriculum we are learning about units of measurement.  This week we had a great time learning to measure around objects using tape measures.

We started by measuring around our wrists.

 We also measured around our elbow area.

 Then we measured around our ankles.

 We also measured around our heads.

 Lastly, we measured our hand span.

We had a ton of fun and learned a lot!
