What a Wonderful Winter Break!

Winter in Alaska is usually cold but Mother Nature really outdid herself this year and -20 degrees Fahrenheit is pretty tough to take. Especially when the cold snap lasts the entirety of the winter break and there is nothing to do but stay inside in order to keep your eyelashes from freezing together.

After two weeks of the wicked winter weather I was ready to pack my bags and move to Hawaii just like Kali.
Despite the frosty and frigid winter weather the following students found a way to stay warm!

Derik went sledding with his cousins.

Xander hid in a hotel in order to divert the crazy cold!

Kali went skating on her very own ice rink.

Mollyann and her family watched the fireworks downtown on New Year's Eve.
