The 100th Day of First Grade

We had so much fun on the 100th day of First Grade!

Every student collected 100 items from home and brought the collection into school in a brown paper bag. Then we guessed what each students' collection was and once we figured it out, we counted the collections in a number of ways (by 2's, 5's, 10's, 20's, and 25's) to 100.

We made necklaces with 100 fruit loops! Thanks for donating the cereal Bristol's mom!

We made 100's Day crowns!
We walked 100 steps down the hall!

We made a line of 100 Unifix cubes!
We made a book called "100 is Fun to Count!"
We even made a 100's day wish!
(Derik really thought his wish through and made sure it would be a wish he would benefit from... he wished for 100 MOMS to do stuff for him!!!)

Plus many many more fun activities... Ms. Matthews just didn't have time to take too many pictures as well as get all the activities done!
