Sea Star Study

Studying sea stars is part of our Alaskan Animals science kit. Today we looked at a sea star specimen. We located the top and bottom of the sea star, the mouth, the five arms, the eye at the end of each arm, the spines for protection, and the tube feet that help it move slowly. The class had a blast being scientists and discovering all there is to know about sea stars!
