Pumpkin Palooza

The month of October meant plenty of pumpkins and orange in our classroom!

 

 

On Halloween our class wore orange and participated in pumpkin centers with the other first grade classes.

 

We read plenty of pumpkin books.

 

We measure and weighed pumpkins of all shapes and sizes.

We made pumpkin puppets and learned The Five Little Pumpkins poem.

 

We created symmetrical pumpkins. 

We played Roll-a-Pumpkin.

 We learned how a pumpkin grows and created a book describing the different stages.

 We even changed our calendar to pumpkins and ghosts.

We even posed with pumpkins!
What a wonderful month of pumpkin fun!
