Alaska Public Lands Information Center Field Trip

We had a great time learning about the animals that live in Alaska and the public lands in Alaska that are available for all of us to enjoy!

Jacob, Tracilyn, and Marissa were asked by Ranger Joe to help with the demonstration part of the field trip.

 

 

We participated in a scavenger hunt and found many Alaskan animals such as the caribou, snowy owl, and musk ox that were on display in the Alaska Public Lands Building.

 We also watched a movie that taught us about the animals that walk, fly, and swim in Alaska.
