Snowman Stuff

We have been enjoying learning about snow inside the classroom this week and have been having a blast playing in the fresh fallen snow outside at recess!

As an introductory lesson to our 'Snow & Water' science unit we completed a fun activity together as a class.  We created a snowman graph of our names.

We then completed an activity where we compared the number of letters in all of our names.

We found out which child in class had the most letters in his/her name.  It was Christiana.

Then we found out which child in class had the least amount of letters in his/her name.  It was a tie between Zoe & Mae.


Then we added up all of the letters in all of our names and found out how many letters that would be in all.  The grand total was 124 letters!
