This week our classroom was filled with the sweet aroma of apples. We read many apple books, learned how an apple grows from a seed, and even learned how an apple tree changes from one season to another.
We were seeing red, yellow, and green apples everywhere! Each child selected the apple color they like to eat most and then we collected the data as a class.

We used the data to create a class graph and then discussed which apple color was most popular.
Each student had the chance to find the weight and circumference of an apple.
We also had a variety of yummy apple treats sent in to sample.
Ethan brought in apple kool cake and an apple pudding ring to try.
Christiana brought in some delicious apple sauce cups.
Kyla brought in some crunchy apple chips.
At the end of the week each student recorded which apple treats he/she liked or disliked and then circled a favorite apple treat.
We finished off the week by creating an apple craft and poem.
