Thanksgiving Feast - 'First Grade Style'

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration at school.

It was Tie Day at school so we were all dressed up for our Thanksgiving Feast!
We joined up with the other first grade classes and rotated through all three classrooms enjoying various turkey center activities.

We played 'Turkey Bingo'.
We played 'Roll A Turkey'.
We also made a 'Turkey Cup'.
Afterward we ate pizza (in honor of the poor old bird) and then devoured some fun turkey cookies.
We finished up the day by making a special turkey to take home and share with our families. Attached to the turkey is a recipe for a casserole to make with all your Thanksgiving dinner left-overs.
What a wonderful way to spend the day before Thanksgiving!
