This is how the Pizza Math Challenge works...
Every day after recess we complete a math page of addition facts.
The challenge is to complete the math page correctly in five minutes.
If a student is able to complete the math page correctly a pepperoni is awarded to put on that students' pizza on the bulletin board.
The first math page is made up of +0 addition facts, the second is made up of +1 addition facts, the third page is made up of +2 addition facts and so on.
The challenge will be complete after every student has correctly finished the math pages up to +12 addition facts and there are 12 pepperoni on every student pizza.
The students are very motivated to do well at this challenge and many students have already earned 3 pepperoni!
