Kincaid's registration schedule is as follows:

Tuesday (August 4)
Last names beginning with A-L... 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Wednesday (August 5)
Last names beginning with M-Z... 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Wednesday (August 5)
Last names beginning with A-Z... 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Thursday (August 6)
Make-up... 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

**************PARENTS PLEASE NOTE**************

This year all first grade students get an extended summer vacation as first grade will begin one week later than all other grade levels. This is a new procedure that ASD has adopted in an attempt to aid first grade teachers in obtaining important information on every first grade student. Instead of attending school that first week, one-on-one appointments will be set up between the teacher, student, and parents. Therefore the first day of first grade this year is August 25, 2009.

Also, please hold off on buying school supplies from the generic ASD list as many of the items on the list are unnecessary for a first grade student. Please refer to the list posted on the right hand side of this blog instead as it will better meet the school needs of your child. For your convenience, the Kincaid School Store offers a competitively priced first grade packet of supplies that you can purchase during registration.
